Sponsorship Campaign

Challenge:
They wanted an engaging sponsorship program to raise needed funds by connecting donors to program participants.
Solution:
I created a fundraising campaign with a sports team motif that invites donors to join in the stories by connecting them personally with a specific participant at Shepherd’s Way.


Profile Sheets:
To tell engaging stories, I interviewed program participants, their family members, and program mentors.
Profile sheets include interesting facts, stories showing needs for the program, and photos representing benefits from Shepherd’s Way. The donation section outlined both the benefits to the participants and to the donors.

Note Cards:
I created custom note cards for participants to hand-write messages to their sponsors to thank them for donating and update them on various milestones they were achieving toward independence.
Refrigerator Magnets:
To remind donors of their monthly sponsorship, I created refrigerator magnets that are sent to sponsors when they join. The magnet is sent with the custom note card that contains a handwritten thank you from the program participant.

& Social Media:
The website homepage promotes the sponsorship program and links to pages detailing the program and profiling the program participants.
Profile webpages include personal stories, benefits to participants, benefits to donors and donation forms.
Social media posts highlighted various aspects of the sponsorship program.
